What are Deposit Limits?
You can set Daily, weekly, and monthly limits for your deposits, giving you the opportunity to restrict your deposits to an amount you are comfortable with. Setting deposit limits is a good way to keep your gambling losses in check as well as keeping your betting activity within budget.
What is self-exclusion?
If deposit limits are not enough, self-exclusion is worth considering. While there is always the option of closing your account, self-exclusion allows you to suspend your account instead for a period of 1, 2 or 3 months.
Self-exclusion is a program where an individual may wish to exclude themselves from gambling activities for a set period. During this period of self-exclusion, an individual is encouraged to seek counseling and support offered through the national Responsible Gambling Program (NRGP)
The Self Exclusion counseling sessions are free to the individual. To register for these sessions contact the NRGP on 0800 006 008 or email [email protected]
Please note that access to the betting platform will not be allowed within the self-exclusion period chosen. Your account will only be considered for re-activation upon your own request to our customer support once your exclusion period has lapsed.
While your account is suspended you will not be permitted to log into the site to place bets.
To withdraw any available funds during the self-exclusion period simply contact customer support to arrange a transfer to your bank account.
How to self exclude?
1.Click on the profile icon in the top right corner
2.Click my profile
3.On the top menu bar scroll left to see more options.
4.Click responsible gambling
5.Read contents
6.Select exclusion period 1, 2 or 3 months
7.Click confirm
A pop up will appear asking you to confirm you wish to self exclude. Click yes to self exclude and temporarily close your account.
There is an option of closing your account
You as a player can request to close your account. In order to close your account please send an email to our support team at [email protected]. In the email please clearly state your name, surname and Jabula Bets account number and why you wish to close your account.
When you request for your account to be closed it will be closed permanently. If you wish to open your account again you will only be able to request for your account to be reactivated after one year (12 months from the requested date). An email will have to be sent by you requesting to open your account and confirm that you received counseling and support offered through the national Responsible Gambling Program (NRGP) and are now in a position to gamble responsibly. If we do not hear back from you after 12 months your account will remain closed permanently.
Self-Evaluation To ensure you are gambling responsibly, you should frequently do a self-evaluation by answering the following questions:
Why do you gamble?
How do you feel when you run out of betting funds?
Have you ever lied about the amount of money you gamble?
Do you chase your losses after a losing bet?
Would you rather gamble than spend time with friends?
How does your gambling impact your mood?
